Paper Mache lamp made from recycled paper. Hand printed with the screen printing technique and hand painted in green and gold.
The screen printing technique has its origins in ancient China; however, it was in the 20th century when screen printing experienced a great impulse, especially with the emergence of the artistic movement known as ‘pop art’.
It is a handmade printing technique that consists of transferring images with inks through a mesh stretched over a frame. The ink is blocked in the areas where there will be no image by means of a photosensitive emulsion exposed to ultraviolet light.
Do not use water or cleaning products, simply remove dust by passing a duster or vacuuming with the vacuum cleaner brush.
